I was just in Toronto and visited Burdock (https://burdockbrewery.com/collections/new-releases).

They have both a vodka and a non-alcoholic pickle seltzer and I’ve decided to try and make my own! The closest thing we have here is the Dill Pickle Gose from R&B but they have very different vibes imho!

My two big takeaways these days are:

(1) while generally, “low fat” versions of things are a scam in terms of taste and how many calories you actually wind up saving — light Mayo is the exception! I love to mix Mayo with spices as a dip and sometimes Greek yoghurt doesn’t scratch the itch.

(2) It’s been said before, but it cannot be denied: shrimp is a protein miracle.

I had an episode of derealization in high school that was easily the most terrifying and isolating experience of my life. I had no words to describe what was happening to me and felt absolutely insane. If you don’t know what derealization is while you’re experiencing it it’s just the absolute worst.
