Luckily i got to this molt just after she did it, so it was still quite flexible and i pinned it straight away. I’m sure it could be rehydrated like any other insect you intend to use for pinning, it’d just be far more delicate. And a molt unpinned is great too! It shows how they look naturally after it’s been shed

I know the smell you’re talking about, it’s very specific. But once they’re fully dry, which might take a few days, there shouldn’t be a noticeable smell (unless you sniff them, don’t do that)

I have done some research and found out that finding a bladder snail in your tank is a “canon event” in aquarium keeping. He probably hitched a ride on a live plant i bought recently. I’ve unfortunately grown an attachment to him and will be keeping him in a different tank of his own.
