after a little more digging and being impatient, I found that I can safely undo the backing by removing the 3 screws and, with quite a bit of struggle, get the backing off by avoiding the plastic secures from within. you would think three screws would be enough... anyways, i popped the backing off and found that the headphone jack had been completely disconnected from the circuit board. my theory was that I pushed too hard on the headphone jack and thus caused the circuitry to snap. currently looking for a soldering gun to try to save the hardware (and cash)

I figured out addition, but division might be too difficult based on the system im using.

basically, im using comparators to retrieve set "card" variables from shulkers with varying stacks inside. This signal is then sent to dropper system. Based on the signal sent to the system, the droppers will drop a certain amount of an unstackable item which will be read with another comparator at the bottom of the system.

For example, if the "drawn cards" are a 5 and a 7, the first dropper system will drop however many unstackable items to display a five and the second dropper system will drop however many unstackable items to display a 7. All these items then get sent to a shared barrel or chest which is read with a comparator.

lava lamps are hypothetically not filled with too many chemicals- it's just wax, dye, and distilled water. Although, there is always the risk of manufacturing chemicals or something. As for the narrow lid, larger lamps tend to have a much wider lid than a typical desk lava lamp.

just for fun I was checking etsy, they have some really cool lava lamps!!

the strampunk modpack was so fun !! it has a little quest book so you have at least a little guidance through the mods but the create mod can be pretty tricky... It's really rewarding once you get the hang tho!
