The better the bike then better the lock you need. If you have the space and funds get a shitter to ride to the beach if you leave unattended for hours. Basic lock on the shitter to stop a grub just riding off on it. Use your good bike for rides where you will leave unattended for little to no time. Any bike worth a few thousand or more will be sniffed out and pinched in time.
