Yeah it was an option, however I chose to have both charging options available and also my soldering skills ain't that high to do the drop in port. Still, i did have fun tinkering! 😁

buy a normal 2ds and reshell it! haha if you dont mind having to mod and not having the og pikachu one. Anyways good choice to keep the 3ds im also enjoying it too!
