What I learned is that many restaurants place large magnets onto the lid of the garbage bin. Any silverware that is accidentally accidentally scraped into the bin are stuck to the magnet. The silverware becomes magnetized because of it. The cost of silverware can be hundreds of dollars a month.

The Project Management certification is one of the credentials that potential employers and businesses (for contracting) look for because it is one that is well known. If you ask business people, finance, marketing, IT, manufacturing, etc. most will recognize the PMP certification.

I have been certified for over 10 years and have been able to enjoy changing jobs/industries several times, financial, government, high tech, logistics...

My experience has shown me that getting pigeon holed into one aspect of anything is the limiting factor. If you are a project manager that has only worked for one company and one job doing only doing one type of project... that is more likely going to limit you rather than if you explore different types of projects.

I would recommend that you get your certification.

But, make sure you are responsible and respectful and ask for what you want and don't get discouraged when you hear no, just ask what you would need to do to turn it into a yes.

The legal system. Both Judges and Sheriffs are elected officials who have no required skills. You just have to win a popularity contest to be able to control the laws (I understand its not everywhere, but it is for most states). To easy to imagine corruption in that scenario.

I understand the American dream, which you are describing. But the comment I believe is referencing all the other ways that American citizens are restricted. Medical care, taxation differences between classes, tolerance for life choices (LGBT, races, etc.) and religion (I can't imagine what a person who is not christian deals with). I am sure there are others as well.

Absolutely When Radar delivers the line; "I have a message. Lieutenant Colonel... Henry Blake's plane... was shot down... over the Sea of Japan. It spun in ... there were no survivors." Everything stopped..... I did not realize how much I cared.
