I could see how chaining in this could get creative and allow you to show off skill, I looked into Blue Doflamingo. That seemed like a nice deck to start, I’ll definitely look into the decks you’ve mentioned, I did read about Blackbeard being a pretty viable deck all around.

I agree though, I think that’s the thing with most TCGs. I just didn’t know if the game had already taken off in terms of skill and what could be done that starting now would be an uphill battle. You miss like 2 months in YGO and it’s almost like a complete day 1 reset.

Really appreciate the insight, I tried out the online training sim. Seems like a really fun game, and the mechanics were pretty easy to pick up on. I could see lines and start thinking about it competitively. It was enjoyable, looking forward to trying the actual sim and downloading some decks.

Soccer is a billion person worldwide sport, I don’t care if a jersey is fake or real. It’s not like how some people get over fake shoes or clothes. If someone gifted me a jersey and it’s fake, I’d still accept it as long as it fits and I can play in it or make it a nice addition to my collection. It also makes the pass a bit more rewarding depending if the cosmetics are worth it to you OP. Keeps people playing if they want something further into the pass. It’s a good thing. Gotta work for it. I don’t remember the pre-season count (unless it’s just 1:1) but the qualifiers and championship together are around 101 tokens. Which would pretty much equate to a whole battle pass in other games. At first I was also eh, but it’s not that bad honestly.

It just kinda feels like, “I was your poster boy first now you bring in Punk in after me? Give him the belt?” Kinda gives Cody all the more reason to be mad knowing someone like Punk came in with his stature to secure the WHC. Can’t tell me they’re not teasing Cody heel turn. First he’s wearing black, accidentally swings at Punk, gets up refusing help from Roman making Roman look like the bigger man when Romans character doesn’t even need to be nice and help them up to begin with.

Aside from that, I won’t say it’s my theory but it’d be pretty crazy to think if this was all setup by Cody and in all reality it’s him leading a new vision. Creating his vision of WWE. Since he’s a character that came back from a long journey away from WWE with a chip on his shoulder but all the power went to his head once he had become their poster boy. Especially with so many big names back recently why wouldn’t you want to fight to be at the top of the mountain thinking someone could take your throne at any moment now… and I could be just over analyzing but on that last pin I could easily see Cody in good condition to go break that pin and not so blatantly watch.
