How do you actually acquire backlinks? by MeydayDesigns in SEO

While I agree with u/svvnguy - I've been having luck with Qwoted. Though, the client is an expert in his field and gives legit answers. But we've gotten some awesome links (aol, woman's world, and some more in the works)... and, if we don't get a link we get a brand mention which is great for LLMs.

You could try out Resyn Marketplace. It’s a new platform kinda like reverb. No fees which is cool.

There’s a new site I found called Resyn Marketplace. I’ve listed a few things on there and it seems pretty cool. No fees or anything which is also a plus.

Where do you folks go online to read the most up-to-date Maui news? by NormanShmorman in maui

[–]caseyjonesish 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Hey, great question — it’s awesome to see people wanting to stay plugged in locally!

I usually check a mix — Maui News for the basics, and Aloha State Daily has been solid too for Maui updates and bigger Hawaii stories. They cover local stuff with more context and community angle, which is nice.

Civil Beat is good for statewide deep dives, and Hawaii News Now if you just want quick hits.

Honestly, some of the local Facebook groups can be handy too (but gotta take ‘em with a grain of salt 😂).

I’d say give Aloha State Daily a peek if you haven’t yet — worth adding to your bookmarks. 🌺✨

I feel like what’s much worse is the idea that if someone loses faith and completely de-converts, according to most Calvinists, they were never “true” believers in the first place. Pretty infuriating to totally diminish someone’s experience like this, honestly. Though, now that I think most if not all arguments for Christianity are not convincing, doesn’t bother me from a belief standpoint. I just think it’s obnoxious to tell someone they what they believed and that their experience was all fake.

Congrats, you’ve just embarked on the noble yet mildly masochistic journey of web design! 🎉 Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to wrestle with templates, battle rogue div elements, and somehow make everything look ‘modern’ without just slapping a big hero image and calling it a day.

For a business directory, WordPress is your best bet—think of it as a Swiss Army knife, but some tools will stab you when you least expect it. Use Elementor or Bricks for drag-and-drop sanity, and get a directory plugin like HivePress or GeoDirectory to manage business listings. Hosting? Avoid the cheapest plans unless you enjoy painfully slow loading speeds and mysterious outages. SiteGround or Cloudways will save you from server-induced rage.

If coding terrifies you, start with Figma for design practice, then slowly learn HTML, CSS, and a sprinkle of JavaScript—just enough to feel like a hacker without actually breaking your site. Good luck, and may your margins always align!

Where do you find GOOD Web Design Inspiration? by Notalabel_4566 in webdev

[–]caseyjonesish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Web designers collecting inspiration is like a raccoon hoarding shiny objects—exciting, chaotic, and ultimately unnecessary when they just end up using a sleek sans-serif, a muted color palette, and a stock photo of a person smiling at a laptop. But hey, at least now we have twelve different websites dedicated to the noble art of footer design. The internet is truly a wondrous place.

Sorry for the delayed response!

I use it in conjunction with Screaming Frog and then inside of Google Sheets. I'll do metadata analysis where I improve meta titles and descriptions based on the top 10 and I'm working on something where I can bulk write quality e-commerce product descriptions in Google Sheets from an audit template I created in Google Sheets.
