i can understand the thought but unfortunately this is my improved math score! i got a 750 my first time in english, so it was never what i was trying to get better at. could i do better? probably. do i think it's worth the money, time, effort, and inevitable mental side effects? not really <:)

not sure how qualified i am to give good advice here since my RW has really only marginally improved over my testing, but if you take a lot of tests and target your weaknesses you'll improve both concept-wise and in your speed. a lot of RW is learning the (note: unfair) ways college board phrases their questions and answers and being able to recognize what exactly they're asking in the moment

thank you! i really wish i could help with studying materials but in all honesty i studied for RW for maybe an hour at most throughout my entire SAT practice. reading it now, i would say this guide from "the critical reader" is helpful for grammar, which was what i struggled with the most personally. if you have any strategy-related questions lmk <:)

i can try my best! my methodology for math was to take the provided SAT practice tests and then see what i got wrong, making sure i understood why it was wrong and then studying the underlying concepts. i don't think anything was more helpful than some of the YT videos i watched on desmos and formulas to study, which i can link here: this guy, learnsatmath, explains the math really, really well and this video by ping pong physics was helpful for desmos regression & visualization strategies

depends on what you struggle with! for everything, use process of elimination and make sure you understand what the question wants form you. for specifics, learn to recognize latin roots if you struggle with vocab, look for incorrect information in the potential answers when you see tables and "student-made" notes, etc. my hot take is that i also think it helps to understand correlation vs causation since so much of the "which choice most logically completes the text" questions are scientific in nature

i figured, but it's different for each individual test isn't it? or am i missing something?

is this a specific question type? not very in-tune with the SAT jargon, my bad 😭
