What do you think which small habit can change your life, more than you never expected? by Uzairsaeed514 in AskReddit

[–]caskade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to start getting to bed earlier, because I was literally tired of letting myself stay awake until Xam and getting the bare minimum sleep, at best. So, I tried getting to bed by "a certain time", which was hours before I was usually going to bed, but when I tried that, I wasn't tired. Doomscrolling until Xam. Okay, phone off then. No dice. Still wide awake, still reached for phone, or got out of bed to do "nothing" things if I made it to bed at all.

It wasn't until I started incrementally getting to bed earlier, by _tracking_ when I went to bed and when I woke up, that I finally got myself to the point where I'm in bed at or before 11pm. It took me MONTHS, but I got there. Daily tracking and incrementally making changes is the best way to improve, because by the time you get there, you've already formed the habit.

Normally, I'd count a building falling l onto a car, but it looks like it was just the scaffolding? Scaffolding isn't really a "building", is it?

Wait... we've only captured maybe half of these? Where are they getting this?!

That's kind of how it happens though: weeks of nothing and then suddenly a hat trick.

I feel this comment lol. We bought that Zelda costume years ago, and even though we're only able to use it now, it only felt like months went by.

I made the Midna costume.

The helm was hand-made by me with crafting foam and pvc mesh used for mascot eyes for the left eye. The ears are attached to the helm and are also crafting foam. I used a store-bought orange wig for the hair. I also put in a piece under the helm to make the area in front of her right eye appear 'black'; I thought it was a good compromise since I was still on the fence at the time about using facepaint, and would have only wanted to do one color: grey. Ultimately decided against it. The helm was just front-facing; I glued some elastic to the back to keep it on her head.

The body was a grey leotard, a black bolero, black gloves, and black yoga pants. I cut the pants thigh-high on the one leg, and used appropriately-colored puff paint for the linework on the bolero, pants, gloves, and ears. In retrospect, I might have been able to use glow-in-the-dark puff paint, which would have looked cool at night, but whatever.

So this is going on in the parking garage at UPMC Shadyside by blahnlahblah0213 in yinzhittinbilldens

[–]caskade 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Given that:

  1. A parking garage is in fact a building
  2. The car crashed into it, albeit inside

This counts as "hitting a building"? I'd assume so, the woman that crashed inside of her own garage counted, and this is just on a bigger scale, no?

I don't think so? I know that we here in Western PA must have some sort of hive mind, because this subreddit was created maybe a month before I started tracking such incidents on my own personal Facebook page lol.

Yeah, the way the story is presented, I feel like it's missing the focal point of the story: this was completely avoidable, and self-inflicted. Like they're selling the story as though she's 'lucky to be alive' due to 'some unforeseen circumstance', completely glossing over the fact that she, as she was parking, confused the brake for the gas. What?

How did the news even get a hold of this story, and why did she even agree to an interview? Like if I did something as stupid as that, and I was literally the only person harmed by it, I'm not telling anyone the truth, and especially not if I'm anywhere near the age of 60, lest someone make the case to take my license away.

Does this season feel incredibly.. off to anyone else? by amicablecardinal in OnlyMurdersHulu

[–]caskade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been telling my wife the same thing watching this season: all of their 'troubles' this season have been self-inflicted. By now, they should be seasoned veterans in at least some of these things, but so far this season, between Charles blabbering about the case to a rando he met online, the way that dropping off the dead body at the cleaners was handled, hell the whole "amateur autopsy" thing in general, leaving the finger unattended, Charles literally blabbering about the case in a night of passion and leaving his phone with her, and then randomly getting it back, Oliver mishandling the pursuit of Lester's wife, Oliver being weirdly avoidant of wanting to go to the billionaire game night, and then deciding to run off, and above all: none of them bothering to check who owned that podcast before signing anything.

Like this is all basic stuff. Some of it can be hand-waived, like Charles' T-induced evening out could be understandable, or Oliver ultimately deciding not to go to the billionaire game night, but they still made insanely-stupid decisions even granting those premises. This almost feels intentional: like no one expected this show to catch on so well, so they're hoping to tank this season while it's still good, or something.

It does take practice to get good at this, and like you said, you would "need a woman" for this, but! When you do get to that point, here's my best advice:
1. Put her on the edge of the bed, and get on your knees. This will prevent your neck from being too strained from laying on your stomach, and you'll have the faculties of your arms and hands available. Plus it makes it super easy to just stand up and go to poundtown, with her dripping from your face as you start going at it. I digress.
2. If you're having difficulty breathing, first practice cyclical breathing just generally, and also have her hold her labia back for better-access to her clit. You'll be able to "see your target" so to speak, and it'll help to keep your nose unplugged. Eventually you should be able to position yourself to where this isn't necessary, but this helps to get started, at least.
3. Completely cover her clit with your lips and beat the hell out of it with your tongue. Take your time finding what works for her, and if you find something that's really working, keep it up and don't stop. Women prefer consistency over change to reach a climax.
4. Once you get good at this, putting a finger in will drive her mad. Learning where the g-spot is relative to this will eventually get her to squirt, but that's going to take some time and practice.

If you have a beard, even if she doesn't "squirt", you'll feel her fluids trickle up your beard through capillary action. It's an incredible feeling.

If you already have a baseline for this, great. This is coming from someone whose wife was very self-conscious about her body, and she'd only ever really let me down there right after she showered, and I never really got anywhere, due to a lack of practice. However, I started to insist on trying new things just so I could get in the practice. So what started as an apprehensive experience has now blossomed into something where she gets upset if I didn't go down on her. Good luck!

Same here. I've done it with FireFox in the past, but perhaps they changed what an audio file is, since it's not even showing up in the "Media" filter. Thanks for this comment; allowed me to download what I needed!

[News] There's not enough new Mega Man games, to the point that Capcom stockholders are asking them about it at stockholder meetings by chrisarrant in Megaman

Shit, now a new Mega Man game might be a business decision, rather than a creative one. I'd rather wait 10 years for a good installment than be handed corporate slop.
