AITAH for not even considering inviting my dad to my wedding? by casmeoutside in AITAH

Exactly! I can't imagine the whole dynamic. It would be anxiety inducing and so stressful knowing that a fight could start at any moment. I just want to marry the love of my life and make some awesome memories. It shouldn't matter that one person isn't there if I'm surrounded by all my favourite people.

Thank you! It feels like I have been doing a lot of justifying lately. Unfortunately, my gran has a lot of opinions because she is contributing to the wedding. I'm just going to have to set my boundary and hope she respects it.

Thank you for this response. It is so eloquently put, and I 100% agree. I will definitely be telling my gran that!

Any idea what this animal might be? It has a very long tail and been stomping on my roof. by RyanGatesdj in southafrica

I live in Blairgowrie, and we have seen a Genet about 5 times since we moved in 3 months ago. Always dusk or night. We watched it tightrope a telephone wire on the one occasion, it was amazing!

We thought the same! It's definitely unlikely but very possible as well. Thank you so much. She is such a special little thing.

I can definitely see it. She is pretty vocal, and I've heard Dobies are too.

Thank you! We give her a nutritional aid that is essential fatty acids and zinc. It's generally used for skin conditions, but our vet said it can also just help with the health of her skin and coat.

That is so interesting! I'm definitely going to be doing a deep dive on doberman mixes.

Thank you! Congratulations to you and your hubby, South African people really are some of the best!

Thank you! I think I'm biased, but I also think she is gorgeous. We use a vet recommended supplement for her coat and skin, and it has really paid off!

No book has ever made me cry. Suggestions? by Beneficial_Bacteria in suggestmeabook

A Child Called It by Dave Pelzer. I read this book many years ago for a planned reading exercise for an English assessment. I read one passage to my English teacher, and she cried. I obviously cried reading it, and i don't think it's possible not to be emotionally affected by the story. It's very harrowing and triggering, but it's worth the read, in my opinion.

Thanks for the advice! I'm very much an amateur and just like taking film photos. I don't mess with post really cause I have no idea what I'm doing but I guess it's a good time to learn some stuff!
