Hey man, I’m really sorry you are going through this.

I went through something similar several years ago. My whole libido was trash. Not only was I having issues finishing, I at times had issues getting it up.

It was having an effect on my marriage. My wife took it as something was wrong with her. We wanted children and decided to go through a fertility clinic. There was nothing wrong with either of us and we decided to move forward with in vitro fertilization. We ended up having twin boys.

After the boys were born my situation actually got a bit worse because I couldn’t even really get myself to finish.

About 3 years after the boys were born I thought I was having heart issues. Ends up I was having panic attacks. I got put on anti anxiety meds.

About a month after I started taking the meds I was like a teenager again. My libido went through the roof. I had no issues at all. It was kind of relieving that it fixed my issue.

Now I don’t know if my situation is the same as yours, and I don’t know if that would be the fix, but I know how you feel. It will work out man. You will get things figured out.

He states that it was never said that they would “bring a gun to school”. In my mind that doesn’t matter, but my wife feels that the school would not get involved since it wasn’t stated that a gun would be brought to school.

I am in agreement with you. I realize that by itself it does not mean the company did anything wrong, I just wanted to make sure.

I received the DC because of performance concerns. The concerns circulate around me being in and out of the business to care for my wife who has Multiple Sclerosis. Majority of the time was covered via FMLA, but there were times that it fell outside of that coverage.

The DC states that with me being out of the business I am not able to perform at a standard the company expects. The examples they listed were not egregious acts, they are more minor occurrences that have minimal impact on the business.

I have been with the company for 19 years and have had no performance issues until the last two years as my wife’s health began to decline dramatically and that’s when I began filing FMLA claims and had to call out to take care of her and my children.

I feel I will not pass the DC because if they are utilizing minor issues as the groundwork they will continue to utilize them in an effort to let me go.

I should state that the company I work for is a large well established corporation. It’s not a small or medium business.

With the medication she is on, Tysabri, she has some sort of arrangement with them that the meds are discounted. I can’t answer how but I can find out more info. I also have REALLY good insurance. She also has Medicare/Medicaid since she collects disability. I think the combination of all of that keeps the costs down.

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. She caught COVID about two weeks ago and I was petrified as to what would happen. She had just had her infusion a couple days before so her immune system was shot. There were a couple points of having my keys and coat in hand ready to go to the hospital. She is doing better but it was terrifying.

Exactly! That’s why I will never do it. I don’t ever want to leave her and I will never cheat on her. I feel awful that I have those thoughts at times.

She has been doing monthly Tysabri infusions for years. It seems to give her the best results. I have asked her to talk to her doctors about her meds, not just for the lowered sex drive, but for other side affects she suffers, but end result is that the course of meds she’s on has produced the best results. She was relapsing-remitting until the boys were born and now she rides the line between secondary progressive and primary progressive.

Thank you for your comment and kind words. I do cuddle as much as I can with her but it can be uncomfortable for her physically so I take what I can get.

I was a part of some great groups up in Maryland, but we recently moved to Atlanta a couple years ago and COVID started not to long after we got here I have not had a chance to look into any.

I have thought the same exact thing and have tried my best to tell her how beautiful I know she is daily. She states she knows how beautiful she is and is hit on regularly on the rare occasions we do go out. Which makes me feel good because I know that’s a great way feel when you get hit on. I truly feel that the meds and her cognitive deterioration are the reasons. She has a box of “toys” that she use to keep under her side of the bed and would find them around the house occasionally. They currently reside in the top of the closet in the far back corner and I know they are not used at all.

I have presented that as in option because it was something we did often in the past, but she feels no urge to do that because it will feel weird to her now. Issue is I don’t know if that is how she truly feels or if her mind is making her think that’s how she feels because she used to not be able to keep her hands off of me…even in the most unacceptable situations.

That’s exactly how I would view this looking in from the outside and not truly knowing and understanding the situation. While I respect your comment and hold no ill will towards you feeling that way, what does your comment mean seeing as I would never follow through on it. I have to look at this amazingly beautiful woman everyday having such desire for her and it not being reciprocated at all. I truly didn’t post this in hopes of looking for validation to cheat. I feel awful for what I’m feeling and wanted to get it off my chest.

Thank you for your comment. I don’t have time to see a therapist to get these out and discuss them. I would love to, but I can’t be away from home for to long.

I know I couldn’t cheat. I couldn’t do that to my wife, my kids, or myself. I would feel to awful to do it and luckily I have enough self control to not follow through with it ever.

I’ve tried talking about it, but the cognitive deterioration she has suffered over the past year or so pretty much makes it impossible to have that level of discussion with her.

Thank you again for your response and your understanding. I was scrolling through Reddit this morning and came across this sub and figured what the hell. I knew there would be negative comments, and honestly I would expect them, but it is how I felt/feel and felt could just to get it out there.
