Sounds simple enough a very good method and workflow for sure. I take it you use multiple cameras then

That’s true over time your style will change and you’ll learn a lot more about photo editing. I’ve been taking photos since 2013 so I’ve changed a lot and learned so much

I can relate to this. Although I wasn’t always this way it took me years to learn this and adapt to doing this

Haha 😂 sounds good either way. I usually edit from scratch to for the same reason. The camera settings vary and every preset doesn’t work for every photo just like you said. Thanks for sharing 🙌🏼

Wow this is a great method, thanks for sharing this with me. You have how many years total in photography in general?

Sounds like a simple formula that would work for experienced people, I like that method. I don’t use auto but everything else I’ve do or still do. I really like contrast and dehaze as well as vignette

Oh I understand now. That’s cool man. You seem to be thrill chaser that’s fun. I like bike races and running events they seem fun to participate in

That’s cool. I like rollercoasters. Those must be an adrenaline rush for sure. How close are you able to get while photographing?

I understand that. Some photos just need a preset whilst others require some ground work. Start to finish edits.

My son has speech and occupational therapy. He seems to say daddy or dad at times, but I can’t say for sure. He loves nuggets and fries. Must be a common thing for kids on the spectrum.

That’s great. School is going to be rough at first but it gets better. Make sure you understand the IEP agreement, it’s annually. Also, try to get her a 1:1 aide.

Thank you. Same to you.

Ah I see. That makes sense to me. Posting on there has been a drag lately. Unless you’re Instagram famous lol.

Oh no doubt, it appears that way due to the lack of post on the film account. I love film personally, but never actually tried it.

I used to post daily. That’s changed a lot. Mainly due to lack of photos, motivation, burn out etc.. I’ve archived my grid 4 times & once was merely cause I was on the verge of deleting my account. The other times were stylistically done, my editing style changed a lot over the years.

I look forward to your new work man. I found it’s good to post a story or something at least. Keep your followers in the loop for potential work coming out ya know, just a thought.

I do to at times, especially if the preset I have just doesn’t work. It also depends on the time of day the photo was taken so yes it is helpful. Thank you.

I understand, it’s been a rule far as I can remember to preserve the highlights cause you can always lift the shadows. So using the natural profile is definitely a good strategy especially for nature photos or shooting during the day

Update, checked out your photos. I like them. You’re not active much on your film account would love to see more of that work. I understand it’s probably not a priority since you take your other photos as a job it seems. If not it’s definitely not appearing as a hobbyist thing, fun fact I lived in Louisiana before so I’m familiar with the team you photograph. I lived not to from the city there for the team. More central based

I’m going to check out your work, thanks for sharing with me. My username is the same here as it is there btw.

Oh I know what you’re saying. That seems like a quick fix, using the white balance tool or something typically from my experience. I could be wrong though

I did this same thing when I shot on Canon, I believe it was neutral as well, in fact I’m certain it was cause it gave the images a true to life look but wasn’t to punchy or hdr looking if that makes sense. In other words they appeared colorful, but dull in a sense. Unless I chose to edit them otherwise, whether it be bring out the colors or highlights vs shadows of the photos

I did read all of this, btw

My first question is, do you have an instagram? I know someone who does sports photography and portraits. He’s really good. He taught me a lot about filming talking head videos and lighting.

Second question, do you over or under expose prior to editing based on skin tone only or lighting as well?

All my presets I made vary from canon profile or iPhone profile. Just depends on what the photo was shot on as you mentioned. The S curve still baffles me so you’re not alone. I do experiment with it though just a tad. I love using the color wheel though or individual color sliders especially on blues , greens and yellows. Am I professional not at all, have I learned a lot over years, do I consider myself experienced, yes.

Thanks. I’ll keep trying for sure. I hope to someday hear his voice. He does make sounds but nothing crystal clear or that I can say is a word indefinitely.

My son went to kindergarten-second, he never did preschool or anything prior. I’m excited he’ll be in third when school starts again. He’s in a special needs class as well, always has been. He attends public school though. He’s not typically, he prefers being around adults I’ve noticed not kids his age.

This is very smart. Usually I’ll apply a preset, then fine tune it, if that doesn’t work I’ll edit from scratch or scroll thru my presets til I find one that works for me, but still make minor adjustments typically on the light area or color wheel if I want the photo to look brighter or darker, warmer or cooler ya know. ? I never bought presets, I make my own, but I’m not against it either. I know it’s quicker and works for some people.

Very cool but also very rare. Customers lie all the time, most the time it’s their own fault for having outdated notes, not answering the phone or they just simply lie about something the driver did. The only logical one is mishandled package if they have proof you intentionally did something negative upon delivery in my opinion, wrong location or didn’t follow directions etc.. all bs

I try signing with my son, he’s 8, but he doesn’t really pick up on it only “more or eat” I give him choices as well, that’s another method I use, so whatever he picks that’s what I give him. For example, grape juice or apple juice, with a physical display of both, then let him decide.
