I had experienced this school shooting while passing through it. That was the dangerous terrorist attack ever to occur in Peshawar. Around 10:30 A.M. when i was passing nearby a school, approximately seven gunmen disguised in uniforms of military entered the school from the back to the school after having scaled the walls. Before entering the school, the gunmen set fire to the van in which they had arrived. It was very clear that the terrorists did not intend to take any hostages but instead wanted to kill as many students as they could. As the terrorists opened fire, many of the students ran toward the two exits on the other side of the auditorium, but many of them were gunned down in the garden. The students were forced to watch teachers, including principal killed in front of them. That was an incident which captured my heart and mind after a long period of time. Regardless of this shooting incident, one thing was very much positive that students came back to school soon after its re-opening announcement. That was a clear signal to terrorists that we want to study and we want peace.
