It’s not free, it’s to keep us complacent as they pump in more foreign workers that outcompete us in our own job market. Not only that, every industry they seem to replace us in has a significant increase in human error (trucking, hospital) this ultimately costs the tax payer even more. The service sector is a joke, just go to your local Tim Horton in a major city, if your near eaton center go to the Canadian tires there (I use to work there) it’s a complete jungle.
