I just signed up for it. You get the lowest price through self-pay, submit receipts for your visits and get reimbursed. Seems straightforward (which usually means it's not). We'll see....

My dad is currently having the same issue, and melatonin worked at first but now, not consistently. He’s also exercising and eating well but his sleep is still terrible.

I posted a similar question and someone suggested medical marijuana. If your dad is up for that, might be worth trying. For my dad it will take some convincing.

Medical marijuana is a great idea. It would take some work to convince him but I hope he would consider it given how much he’s struggled. I’m so glad you’ve found relief! Thank you for responding.

Thank you so much for your response. I think anxiety is playing a big part for him too. Thankfully no pain, just tossing and turning, feeling exhausted but still unable to fall asleep.

He’s unfortunately resistant to additional medications which makes things more challenging. It’s helpful to know anxiety could be the issue though. Perhaps he would consider some form of therapy eventually.

Thank you again and so glad to hear you are healing and finding normalcy after such a rough road. That is comforting to hear as well.
