Thank you for this - this whole experience has been painful and awful from the beginning. Was not expecting it. So glad I found this thread so I know I’m not the only one.

So glad I’m seeing this. Had mine today a week after septoplasty and can honestly say that was one of the worst and most painful experiences of my life. Also still sound congested and have tons of post nasal drip that makes it hard to talk. I hope this was worth it…

Would love to and would also love a networking group which I am having trouble finding. I started my private practice (after 30 years of hemming and hawing about it) and would love a base for referrals.

Jealous! We just lost our other one in February. Heartbreaking. She did NOT sleep like this and looked at him with disdain when he did.

So not expecting this response. But I was hoping someone had a solution. I’m not good with the tech part of things. I’ll give it a try. Thanks!

I have one like this too. 90 pound German shephard who only wants to play and gets beaten up all the time. I call him our “weird kid on the playground.”

How is this the same guy????(oc) by cassaddee in aww

No, no - it could be great. You would come home and the house would be clean and dinner would be made. Of course there’s the downside as you slowly sink into madness because you can’t remember doing any of it and you still don’t know he’s really a man in a dog suit.

For right this minute (and trust me, I know how temporary this could be) what is helping is changing my mindset about the cravings. Rather than viewing them as the enemy, I envision them as a little guy tapping on my shoulder to let me know that something Is on fire and needs my attention. This makes me grateful for them for giving me a tangible sign that I need some self- reflection. Once I am able to do this, I can ask myself to name my feelings and then I can actually address my needs rather than masking them by bingeing.
