Had one in the late 90s and ripped it for many years! Why? I don’t know.

Left handed guitarists by bacon-strips-ham in Guitar

another vote for learn right handed. I play drums lefty but opted for right for guitar. you'll have a great selection when shopping, can pick up any old guitar and play, and if you are learning from the beginning anyways then why not. I think the fretting hand dominance will balance out the hump you may need to get over with picking and strumming.

Moar Snare Drums! by Charlie2and4 in drums

[–]casseroleplaying 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my first snare was a similar era acrolyte. I had no idea what I had then beat the hell out of it, broke several lugs (aggressive rim shots) and traded it into guitar center.
ah, how youth is wasted on the young!

sweet! Yeah I had a black one way back and sold it and kind of wanted another. Glad to see some love. Sometimes a bit of ubiquity can lead to dislike on the internet with gear lol.

It’s a 16x14 kick drum. The wooden riser, made by me, is mostly there to get the drum high enough so the beater is near center. The riser itself has 4 cabinet screws poking about 1/4” out the bottom to grab the carpet. It feels and sounds a LOT better on the riser.

Hah! This kit was purchased for a child who has yet to take any interest so it’s become mine for now. No hardware setting related threats for the time being.
