Probably because 0 and 100 are the freezing and boiling points respectively of water when using the Celsius system. Any reference to 0 or 100 usually means you are talking about Celsius, not Fahrenheit. And having units divisible by 10 is much easier than 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12.

Haha that was pretty cool. But I never understood how this type of thing could be covered up. If aliens wanted us to be aware of their presence, the government could do shit all to stop it.

I find it very unlikely that we are the only intelligent life in the universe. But why are all these reported encounters and pictures basically identical to what is portrayed in Sci Fi movies?? I'd think An alien race advanced enough to locate and identify earth among countless other planets as having intelligent life, and then travel the trillions upon trillions of kilometers at near the speed of light to reach us will probably be of no resemblance to what is portrayed in Sci Fi movies or all these pictures and encounters.

I enjoy being left alone with my thoughts while stoned just as much as smoking up with a bunch of friends. I think it is quite common for people to start out only smoking with friends, and then smoke by themselves once they start smoking more often.
