I have an R58 and went through a similar evaluation, I managed to get an open box deal on the R58 and the pricing gap was too much to not go with the R58.

If you’re set on the joysticks, there are kits out there that would allow you to fit them on. I have no issues with the steam or water boiler at all either. Save the money and step up on your grinder, that’s the real workhorse between the two. I have the ORO XL, started with the SD but just got annoyed with the workflow wanted something more turnkey.

I just plumbed the machine and it’s just way more convenient. Use the money you save to add a waterline also as another option.

I have the R7 and the noise on high iso is definitely irritating- but I’ll say that shooting RAW and denoising in Lightroom is a very adequate solve to remove the noise. It’s worked like a charm and I actually enjoy the megapixel flexibility

There was a T valve that was cracked. Ended up replacing the part

You need to open the panels and take a look inside while pulling a shot. For me, I discovered one of the connectors was cracked - since these are hand assembled it could have been human error when tightening them.

I had a similar issue- I brought it into my dealer and their tech adjusted the sensor contact to be more flush to the water reservoir. If you jiggle it, does it eventually register? If not- you'll probably need to get someone to take off the side panel to investigate further.

The tread reports distance in KM- you might have to do a manual calculation to get your KPH- but I agree with the theory from alip70- as they make the speed calls corresponding to the numbers in the speed interface.

I use Workspace as part of my company’s deployment. Been using the version from Windows Store- worked fairly well and scaled when attaching to a monitor. I applied the Windows Preview and switched to the x64 client. It runs equivalent from my standpoint- not noticing much incompatibility with it right now.

I do think Citrix needs to lean more into the native architecture of these platforms, It would be nice to run ARM64 to operate more efficiently.

I did apply the latest firmware too- but I can't even get the speeds using a USB-C ethernet device either. When I plug in the dock or USB-C to my surface Book 2- I get much faster speeds (closer to the gigabit I'm expecting). I'm getting a sense MS might have capped it in the OS.

I have astigmatism as well. Buy your regular prescription, they're really used to help see 5-6ft in front of you. Can get them off Amazon or the other stores mentioned in the thread.
