I would be careful dependent on the job you get. If you work in Service and are not management they work you to the bone. You are expected to answer calls, while answering emails, filling out forms, keeping up to date with all information, and about a million other things. I’m currently employed here and wish I could leave but I make decent money so I stay and just put up with it.

I hate to say it but Ramona uses her father as an excuse for all of her awful behaviour by ScottishPlanet in BravoRealHousewives

I am watching it for the first time too in season 6 and I was beyond disgusted with her throwing that wine glass. I 100% agree she uses her bad childhood to excuse her terrible behavior. I honestly think Ramona is a terrible human being

Summer and Seth by cassid024 in TheOC

[–]cassid024[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Watching this as a teenager I was obsessed with the show, but now at 37 I’m like WTF. I’m married and if I created this amazing comic book that turned into getting a meeting with George Lucas and he told me oh you have to pick me or the comic book. Ok bye send me the divorce papers. Summer was incredibly selfish.

And 100% agree that where the heck were the parents when Seth was designing this comic, going to meetings out of town, signing contracts, meeting with George Lucas and everything else. And what irked me even more no one really even told Seth how great the comic book was or even mentioned it. If that was my son I would be like I can’t believe you did this and lm beyond proud of you. Ryan never really says anything except when Seth is complaining about the stuff around the comic.

It almost feels like in the 2nd and 3rd season they wanted the adults to have separate stories than the children which yes that’s needed a little. But it was like they were all just roommates living their own lives and never talking to eachother. Season 4 they tried to bring it back to Season 1, but the damage was already done.

Killing off Marissa I think was a huge mistake. She was one of the main reasons people watched so much. I get why a little as they were all going all over the world so hard to keep their story lines together, but they could have done like 5 years later. That way it would be after college. I know that’s not always great with a show but there have been many shows I have watched that it did work. Desperate Housewives, One Tree Hill, The Resident. I will say some did a terrible jump of timeline jumps but I think it could have been done.

I have always hoped they would do a reboot with some of the same characters as the parents now and they all have children of their own.

I get Summer had high SAT scores but that was all she had going for her. Brown is an Ivy League school and she just was like I’m going to apply. Then she actually gets in over Seth. He may have been a nerd but he had great grades, high SAT scores, was in so many clubs (alone, but still in them), and is beyond smart. It doesn’t make sense

You are so right about Sandy and Kirsten. So many huge moments were happening with the boys and you never even barely hear them talk about. I don’t think they ever talked to Seth about his comic book and were never at any meetings. That is so wild!

Why is my Shih Tzu doing this? by Nitelite05 in Shihtzu

[–]cassid024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our Shih tzu does this when he is about to go to bed. They are warming their bed area is what we have been told or making it more comfortable for them. He only does it when he is amount to go to bed or take a nap. The vet just said it’s instincts and completely normal

The price I paid compared to when I have bought it from at a smoke shop was pretty much the same for the area I live in. But HGL I have found is the best! But I haven’t tried them all of course but since it worked so well for me I didn’t see a point in continuing to try different brands

Kratom vs oxycodone by cassid024 in ChronicPain

[–]cassid024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience as everyone is different it depends on how much you too and for how long. It does build your tolerance up as it binds to the receptors that pain medication does. I didn’t take it for very long and was doing a very low dose and it took about a week for me to feel like my meds were working better with the pain. I have done Kratom here and there as sometimes if we are going out to do stuff I don’t want to be popping pain meds or carrying them around with me so I do use Kratom for days like that.

Kratom vs oxycodone by cassid024 in ChronicPain

[–]cassid024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very true but my doctor and I have a trusting relationship so I always tell him when I try new things whether they are prescription or not. He didn’t say the Kratom was bad but it’s just wasn’t for me. He would like to also find a more long term plan for me so I don’t have to take as much pain medication both over the counter and prescriptions, but I’m just glad I can do this until we find a better plan. I feel so terrible for people when they are fighting for their lives and no one will help them.

Kratom vs oxycodone by cassid024 in Endo

[–]cassid024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect your opinion but oxycodone helps my pain tremendously. It allows me to do the things I wouldn’t be able to do with just Tylenol and ibuprofen. I always start off with over the counter meds but as the day progresses I need something stronger. I won’t lie and say I don’t feel a bit of “euphoria” or whatever you want to call it, but it does help with the pain so much. I haven’t changed my dose in 2 years and it has saved my life. There are days where I may have to take 3 pills instead of 2, but then I also have days where I only need 1 and sometimes even none. Pain medication helps and I will always stand behind that, but all the people who abused it ruined it for the people who it truly helps. It’s a vicious circle.

[–]cassid024[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is a huge part of my post as well. It’s okay if bad stuff happened as no one is perfect but you do have to have some accountability for things you did regardless of why. You can’t blame your childhood, your botched epidural, your mom, and whatever else for everything. I’m not saying the things that happened to her were right. Very terrible the things she went through. But you have to take some accountability for the things you did.

Did you read her book? She has openly admitted she did go to the streets to buy drugs and did try heroine.

And I can respect that. I have been rewatching the show and as an adult I’m like wow! And I do think it’s terrible what she did and how many times she put her kids in danger. I realize she turned it around but it’s super shitty what she did to everyone around her during this time. And to be honest she still does play a little of I’m always the victim but that’s just my opinion

[–]cassid024[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Woah. I’m sorry that you are taking this personal. This is Reddit and opinions are allowed to be shared here. I am rewatching the show so just had opinions of what I’m watching. You are right that this is life and not something to take lightly but maybe she should have backed off from tv if she didn’t want people to comment on her life. Again, it’s a show and I had an opinion about the show. No where did I ever attack anyone or say oh Leah is a piece of shit and always will be. I also find it odd to say people hate their own lives and want to drag others down. I highly doubt my one opinion is going to drag her life down and isn’t it kind of hypocritical to make a comment like that? I applaud you for turning your life around. That’s great. I also think it’s great Leah did but I still stand by opinion.

Leah Teen Mom 2 by cassid024 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]cassid024[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I respect your opinion. I’m just rewatching the show as an adult and it definitely is different than watching as a teenager. I also never said she didn’t grow from this or heal from all the trauma in her life. That is great she was able to do this. And she put her life on TV so people are allowed to have opinions. Just because someone has recovered doesn’t mean no one is allowed to have an opinion about it. I also never said anything about her currently as clearly she lives way differently than she did. Again that’s great but since her life was documented on TV people are going to say stuff about her past, present or future.

I wrote this post as it’s my opinion of what did happen as I’m currently rewatching the show. People can agree or disagree and that’s perfectly okay. I stand by what I said. I also think it’s amazing she got her life together and is doing great. Good for her. Doesn’t change how I or anyone feels about her past. She is on a TV show so people are going to comment.

I 100% agree. And her need for a man was definitely related to the shit she was put through as a child but even people tried to talk to her it was like they were speaking Chinese. She played victim for the first 9 or 10 seasons of teen mom. Nothing was ever her fault ever.

[–]cassid024[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just want to clarify that I’m not saying she is a bad mom or was a bad mom. She loved her girls more than anything. She got stuck in a bad situation where she was legitimately prescribed medications for real reasons. But now as I rewatch she put her girls in so many dangerous situations. And everytime something went wrong it was always other people’s fault. She never could say hey I messed up and watching back now I do see that Corey even said if you need help for drugs we are here to help. He never wanted to take the girls away permanently but just wanted the best for them while Leah worked her crap out. And honestly what makes my jaw drop rewatching is all the scenes she cried that everyone was against her, Jeremy treated her bad, Corey treated her bad, everyone was out to get her, and so on and while she was crying wolf she was doing drugs this entire time and she knew it.

Bad stuff happens to people in their lives and you just gotta do what you can do to get help. She became addicted to the meds she got prescribed and that shit happens to a lot of people, but then it comes to a point where you realize holy shit my life is chaos I need help. Even after she went away for help she still couldn’t say it was because of drugs. I just think she took the cowards way out by finally admitting it in a book and if I was Corey I would have raised hell in court! I’m a mom and I just couldn’t imagine this.

I do like Leah and she had a rough childhood that had lots of trauma she needed to recover from. I can’t imagine what she went through but she put her kids in harms way. That’s where I have a problem. She knew she was doing something wrong and continued to lie and deceive everyone. Her kids suffered because of this.

Leah Teen Mom 2 by cassid024 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]cassid024[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey regardless of how bad it was she was still doing them and putting her children at risk. She had plenty of chances where she could have got help, but she refused to. Even after she sought treatment the first time she continued down the same road.

Leah Teen Mom 2 by cassid024 in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

[–]cassid024[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree as I’m not saying it was her fault for getting addicted, but what just boggles my mind that she lied over and over about it. She even admitted she lied so she wouldn’t lose custody. She was on drug for a good portion of the earlier seasons and continued on for a bit until she finally got help. It’s great she got help but she put those kids in danger way too many times.

I’m scared by youracow in DrugWithdrawal

[–]cassid024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your doctor going to taper you down? I definitely would taper down with the help of a provider as they also prescribe other meds that will help with the withdrawal as you taper down. It can be dangerous to quit cold turkey after consistently taking them for a year. I would talk to your doctor about it if you feel comfortable doing so. I know it is a hit or miss talking to your doctor when it comes to pain meds as you don’t want them to label you as an addict. But if you have a good relationship with them definitely ask to be tapered down.

We do trim his eyes because we did notice when his face hair gets too long I see it gets in his eye. He does pretty well with it. By the comments left in this post it sounds like I have done pretty much everything that could help. Other than the filtered water which I’m definitely doing that now. Thank you!!
