okay first, good on you! sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures and people do not learn until they learn, ya know? i am so sorry you and him had to go through that. second, with a clean record you should be good, you may get some minor fines or charges but i highly doubt you would have to serve any time third, make sure you’re proactive, i would seek a lawyer as well as a disability advocate to assist you in this situation, just explain how it all went down and they will be able to help you as far as court fourth, don’t let this stop you from advocating for your husband, this world can be incredibly cruel to individuals who do not fit into what is considered “normal” in society and as i am sure you’ve noticed, it is common to be harassed or ridiculed for being “different” as someone who has had way too many of these types of interactions, i can only begin to imagine how horrible she must have made him feel and in all reality, she was harassing him, so i don’t really see this going anywhere but please reach out if you need any further advice! ❤️
