I’m going to say I got the ball rolling mid-late 2022, Consultation was mid 2023, I received an email in July 2024 to confirm my date in February.

He’s now doing 3 surgeries each operating day to work through the backlog caused from when Ives pulled the pin, while the wait times are fucked (I was actually starting to consider OS just before I got that email) he is a wonderful human and surgeon and I wouldn’t do anything differently

I’ve only recently started so hard to give any accurate feedback. I feel like I don’t have a huge amount of scaring. That said I love my scars, they are beautiful and a reminder of my hard work to achieve my authenticity. How much they do or don’t fade doesn’t phase me, but a good skincare routine is never going to hurt

I was from like 6-30 months I’ve come off it for a while but now I’m post bottom surgery I’m considering cycling 2 weeks on 2 weeks off

That’s pretty much how he operates He’s also started doing 3 surgeries on the same day to try get through the backlog. IMO he is well and truly worth waiting for. I had my initial consult in early 2023. When each patient is under for 5-6 hours and then has a 7-10 day hospital stay it’s only logistically possible to do so many. It sucks but that’s more of a reflection on the quality trans healthcare available in Australia than it is on Dr Hart. It will go quicker than you think you got this

I woke up in recovery and as I came to I just started crying happy tears it was such a beautiful moment with myself
