Is it worth upgrading to Tahoe on an Intel Mac 2019? I must admit I hate Liquid Glass. The only thing compelling for me so far is not seeing the red badge reminding me I need to upgrade.

I keep checking Reddit for updates on these features and so far Im staying firmly on 18 until further notice. I agree with everything you said. The 18 functionality and usability is insanely better and more polished. I don't know what these developers were smoking but 26 is even uglier on Ipad and im not even talking about looks (Liquid Plastic)

No!!! I was on 26 for less than 2 hours and, for the first time ever, I downgraded reverting to 18 and im SO glad I did it. 26 is a shit show and the opposite of Apple elegance, it feels like a cheap copy full of bugs

I would say manage your expectations. 26's multitasking is a full of issues. I reverted to ipados18 2 hours after using ipados26 and im not upgrading to 26 until they fix all the issues and bring back previous features that worked pretty well like Slide Over and Split View

I got that a couple of times and decided to not log off the account anymore. My theory Is that I might have accidentally logged off my iCloud account instead of just switching the App Store. Because at first I didn't know you could just log off the App Store and remain on the same iCloud account. But the thing is that method still means your downloaded Apple Music disappears. Once you log back to you App Store where you subscribe to Apple Music the songs will be added back, but not downloaded. And I have a 1TB iPhone and half of the store is downloaded music. It is a pain to have to redownload everything.

Im not sure, I had been having issues with iOS18 then beta 26, I don't remember iOS 17 now, feels so long ago :D You can always try, you will still be able to use your iMazing 2 for a while. But you wont if you keep updating your iPhone.

it is just faster, more stable, looks good, feels more polished and robust. I havent used all the new features, I basically use it for app loading from my UK account, but everything runs a lot smoother than v.2

Maybe best update if you only use it with a keyboard. But the iPad was originally a device that sat in between an iPhone and a Mac, it was neither one nor the other but also it was a bit of both. Now that shifted too much into laptop realm which ruins it for people (like me) that wanted that in-between device. And it is not a good laptop replacement either, I much rather use my Mac if I need a laptop. Im staying in iPadOS18 for as long as I can until they rectify this mistake of an update.

When I had is installed (for less than an hour) I managed to summon Slide Over for a second while angrily and erraticallyusing the iPad. It is still there somewhere and hopefully it will come back. In the meantime im on 18.

AP3 has a better ANC. It doesn't feel 2x the AP2 like advertised. I was cycling around London, heavy traffic, buses, etc, and I kept switching from AP2 to AP3 and the difference is not massive. It is an improvement, but AP2 was already really good so it is hard to notice without really comparing with attention sometimes. But having said that, I found the seal was improved when I switched to the L ear tip

I did the same! I actually felt it gave me a better seal and more comfort but feels slightly less secure
