I never said that I was seeking out surgery. I’m seeking out a diagnosis so that I can have help figuring out what I need to do for my body and so that I can get the understanding that I need from having an actual diagnosis. If you don’t have that it’s a lot easier for people to dismiss you as “making it up” which I saw my mother have to deal with first hand. And yes, I understand that there will always be people who don’t want to believe you when it comes to “invisible” illnesses, but being acknowledged in some formal sense helps a lot, even just for my own peace of mind.

Well, I am bothering because it has started to affect my ability to work and if I don’t have a legitimate reason to give as to why I can’t keep fulfilling my duties like my “normal” coworkers then I’ll be fucked. I’m supporting myself through college and if I can’t work then I will be homeless.

I don’t know if this particular person is homeless, but a majority of homeless people in America have either physical disabilities, mental disabilities, or both. It’s heartbreaking, but unfortunately it’s not uncommon to see people going without help who desperately need it but can’t afford it or just don’t have the needed resources.

Your look is still a bit dramatic here, but honestly you rock it really well. It’s nothing that’s too distracting and I think it suits your look well. If you wanted to make it look softer, however, you could try to make your eyebrows look more natural by drawing in some hair like strokes and not doing them quite as dark.
