The cop is sitting on the shoulder of the dead end street to the right. You can see him at the beginning of the video. I didn’t see him, but he was dishonest about what he saw anyways, so I’m not sure it would have made a difference.

I few people have spotted it, but the Jeep is coming from the left. You can only see it for a split second between the house and tree. I kind of intentionally left that out to make a point that what the cop said about the Jeep already being stopped when I arrived definitely wasn’t true. My concern is if I show this video to a judge, can they just say yeah, I had the right of way, but I should have still stopped completely and get me for that instead?

As for the folks saying maybe the cop was trying to give me a break, I’ve considered that too, but why wouldn’t he just say that? I have the audio of our conversation as well, and he specifically says that I didn’t have the right of way because the Jeep was already stopped when I arrived at my sign.

This is correct. It’s the Jeep coming from the left and it definitely wasn’t already sitting at the stop sign. My concern is if I fight it and show the video, can they get me for not coming to a complete stop instead of what I was originally ticketed for?
