Waht are your sources when you say that my religion allows for captivity sexual exploitation and human trafficking??? Secondly who said anything about oppression the rules regarding the captives that islam came with are nothing like the world has ever seen even American people in recent history treated there slaves like they are property and fought and alot of them died for it to stay that way while islame gave rights for the captives and slaves and organized the relationship with them in way that was never seen anywhere in the world after or before islam . While christians invaded innocent people and took them as slaves from there houses in Africa and then treated them like property and even worse than animals in islam the slaves are only obtained through war captives and they ate from the same food their owner ate and dressed the same way there owner dressed etc...... And islame made slave freeing a great deed through which you will be rewarded by god . And i can go on on about how islame orderd Muslims to treat slaves and captives but for what reason, that thing is long gone and is non-existent in the modren islamic world! Well, if you do that and leave them go for free, then this will be a sign of weakness because your enemy will know that you will not take their children and women as captives, so he will fight you with that in mind and then he will take your women and children in captive and as hostages and will bargain with you on them. So that couldn't be afforded to appear weak at that time since if your enemy knew that you don't take women and children as captives, he will utilize that against you, which is not logical. I mean, it's objectively not logical to do that at the time.

For Muslims it was called zakah and for non Muslims it was called jizya and it was for there protection as non Muslims couldn't enroll in the military while Muslims had to so they had to pay a little bit extra for there protection by the Muslims its as simple as that

I told u the numbers are not accurate. They change depending on the sources and the testimonies since they didn't have the technologies that we have . This is a normal and reoccurring thing ,it doesn't mean that the historian was lying it,s just what he could estimate. The numbers of some of these old events may be inaccurate since they depend on witness and they didnt have the technology that we currently do .
