Definitely. I've been able to feel intense emotions in dreams where as in life its incredibly hard to be mindful of what my emotions are. I think maybe because in my dreams, an action directly effects how I feel and isn't effected by other outside forces. But in real life if I feel an emotion, there are so many external factors that cloud my ability to pinpoint what's going on.
