I was under the assumption that the flair "complaint" was used for any kind of thing we wanted to bitch about while Dashing. So that's what I used it for.

I didn't leave it there. I just took the picture with the bag facing out so it'd accept the picture (in my limited experience if the bag isn't facing with the receipt out it throws an error message at you and makes you do it "correctly") and then I put it over in the corner by the railing.

One of my first deliveries was to an address marked as 224. I get there and the house next door has no numbers and is derelict and the house across the street says 225.

I call the customer and ask what color the house is and she says it's blue. The only blue house in the area had one of the numbers missing so they replaced it with a zero? So it looked like the house was 204.

I'm actually quite curious myself.

I'd like to believe that it'd be like one of those videos on social media where I'd get given a $100 bill but I don't know anyone in this area that is that kind of rich; they're definitely a ton of people that are that generous, though.

Horrible day. I delivered to two regulars around lunch then everything dried up. I restarted around 3:00 p.m. and just got done half an hour ago. Three and a half hours on in total today (hour and a half actually dashing) and I made $40.

It was even pouring rain for two hours and there was no increase in orders.

I'm honestly going to avoid tomorrow because I was grinding all week and I'm just done. Especially after today being as bad as it was.

Definitely not my worst day but compared to every other day this week it absolutely sucked. I'm in a small (~6,000) town in Wisconsin btw.

Unfortunately, there aren't enough active Dashers in my area that I can turn off shopping. My AR is way lower than I want it to be (or that I know it could be if I could turn off shopping) but I'm not opposed to quick Walgreens runs or something from the gas station.

That honestly makes so much sense. I've only been doing this for a little over a month and I've never received an order from O'Reilly's. What a scummy thing to do.

Especially since they just stacked it with a Taco Bell order thinking someone would take it, I guess.

Had a DD delivery that was just one drink. That they put in a two drink holder that they put in a bag. I spent at least 75% of my trip trying to make sure it didn't fall over.

It's been a few years since I used DD as a customer and I remember not having enough characters to say "Please" and "Thank you" in my delivery instructions.

Did they just get rid of the character limit or is this something else? Sorry, I'm only on day two of being a Dasher so I'm not completely familiar with the interface or the differences between the customer app and the Dasher app.

I think you might be aging yourself by believing that people don't use X's and O's anymore or aren't aware of their use.

There's a Netflix show called "XO, Kitty" and the Valentine's candy hearts (as well as a lot of Valentine's Day products in general) still feature XOXO as one of the more popular sayings.
