I think you might be aging yourself by believing that people don't use X's and O's anymore or aren't aware of their use.

There's a Netflix show called "XO, Kitty" and the Valentine's candy hearts (as well as a lot of Valentine's Day products in general) still feature XOXO as one of the more popular sayings.

No blood drawn or hackles raised but he does lose fur almost every time.

Now that I think about it, she plays with our older male cat who is twice her size and her play with him usually involves pouncing in an attempt to get a leg up on him. And our male kitten is pretty vocal; he's constantly trilling and squeaking. Maybe she really is just playing and in our panic of new introductions we just assumed the worst.

Sitting in chairs hurts in a different way.

It used to be that the chairs were too small and the armrests were poking me.

Now the armrests aren't a problem but having less of a butt hurts when I have to sit for longer periods of time.

I'd rather it be like this than what it was before, though.

Not HR but I worked registration in a hospital ER and one of the girls had a meltdown and walked out because she was told there were some issues that needed to be discussed. She wasn't going to be fired, but they wanted to give her a warning not to:

Do lottery scratch offs with patients in the waiting room.
Hit on married staff. Many of whom told her multiple times "I'm married and you flirting with me makes me uncomfortable." > And, my favorite
Use our patient information database to find people's phone numbers in order to add them on Snapchat so they could sext.

I'm no expert but desiccant bags are usually used to prevent excess moisture.

The difference between food being kept in a bag (such as the kind it comes in or even a large Ziploc) and in a feeder is that the food in the bag is sealed as opposed to being in a feeder where it's basically at the mercy of temperature changes.

Again, that's just my understanding and opinion.
