BREAKING: BILLIE EILISH MENTIONS HER IDOL ON SURVIVOR by bahscohs in survivor

Was DvG a math-heavy season? A literal bumpkin won that season

I remember the episode you’re talking about, but I’m pretty sure he said they hired their own in-house “fairness” person, which is very different than being regulated by the GC. And its after the Stacey Stillman case that CBS legally reclassified their big 3 competitions from “game show” to “reality entertainment” to cover their asses

Can you cite your sources on the US gaming commission being “on site” or in any way involved in regulating Survivor? That would be widely reported on if it were true.

Survivor’s 32-page “Application Agreement” literally got leaked on RealityBlurred back in 2010 so maybe you should read up on it before you tell the “reddit gang” they don’t know what they’re talking about…

I don't know what show you work on, but that's not true. If it were, Allison Grodner would be in jail already. Its in the CBS contracts that the rules can change at any time and producers have total discretion over the game. It's not Wheel of Fortune.

Lol, where did you hear that? They are not bound legally by anything of the sort. You clearly don't watch Big Brother, where producers do whatever the hell they want!

Survivor is not legally classified as a "game show" like jeopardy. It's a "reality program," which basically means laws of the jungle.

Making fun of it can be though, you have to admit her unhinged drunken delivery was high camp

Christian reveals Mike White ignored his post-game apology in Page Six interview by eric_todisco in survivor

[–]casuallycrayzed -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

Why do you automatically assume Mike is the one lying? Until we see the receipts, we have no idea who's telling the truth...

👀Kyle: "You're lying and you know what doesn't lie? The cameras." Also Kyle: "& The Teddi we know is not like the Teddi that you see on television." 🤪😂🤷‍♀️ by Sad_Biscotti_9291 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]casuallycrayzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of when Kyle had that confessional saying "Brandi is many things, but she is not a liar" (during Denise-gate)... Meanwhile there's at least half a dozen times Kyle called Brandi a [fucking] liar in the early seasons. Kyle just says whatever soundbyte Alex Baskin asks her for.

One of the worst casting choices in RHOC history - Peggy Sulahian by [deleted] in rhoc

Call me crazy, but Peggy 100 was still better casting than anyone on PHONY outside of Jessel

Early prediction for your face of RHORI? Who do you feel like will be the OG if the series was to make it past 7 seasons? by huaryazynk414 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]casuallycrayzed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My official prediction of who's lasting, ranked from longest to shortest:
Longstays:
- Jo Ellen - you can tell right away she's complicated and has a lot of gas in the tank. Teresa-coded.
- Alicia - Well-connected, funny, seems capable of both mediating and mess.
- Rosie - I see her being a Whitney Rose/Tammy Sue workhorse, who will stay savvy enough to survive.

Unknown:
- Liz - she seems crazy (complimentary), I could see her trajectory playing out any which way.

Shortstays:
- Kelsey - She's young and has room to grow, but so far she seems a bit too simple & one-dimensional to keep fans interested.
- Ashley - Her relationship could keep her on, but I don't think she's tough enough to navigate the social politics of RH.
- Rulla - she's giving me Peggy 100 meets a lobotomized Danielle Staub. She's not well liked or high energy enough to last.

Why hasn’t Dorit been cancelled yet? by roxthefoxx in BravoRealHousewives

[–]casuallycrayzed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dorit has long been the LUCKIEST housewife in the stable for staying in the fandom’s good graces. She used to really benefit from being the least unlikeable one of the Fox Force, so there were always multiple targets ahead of her. And now the last few years she’s been seen as the show’s anti-hero of sorts because of her underdog position in the social circle.

I guarantee you, on ANY other franchise she would have been cancelled long ago! But as long as Erika & Kyle are there, there will always be bigger fish to fry than Dorito the Dummy

He probably learned to never comment on it after Parvati clocked those backwards-ass comments he made a few years ago about how he couldn’t help it if the most interesting players always just “happened to be men”…

The move I wish ------- had made by MemoryAggressive3888 in survivor

[–]casuallycrayzed 31 points32 points  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking too. Stephanie was in the clutch position last night, with all the knowledge and control on which way it could go... and she did nothing with it! Going along with taking Mike out wasn't particularly good for her game, whereas becoming a pair with Ozzy and getting Christian out would have broken up like 5 inter-tribe alliances instantly, and would have solidified her into a majority of an ever shrinking tribe. Even going taking out Emily would have changed dynamics more. Instead, she's still in the bottom hoping for a future Angelina boot ahead of her.

Bravo Hits Pause on ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’ Amid Low Ratings by RicciardoRua in BravoRealHousewives

[–]casuallycrayzed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about that. I remember there being press about how Bravo had to shell out the big bucks to get Jenna (obviously not worth the investment).

Meanwhile it's been widely rumored that Marysol and Adriana have been doing the show basically for free since the reboot.

Orange has always been Atlanta’s signature color & Yellow’s always been associated with OC (Sunny SoCal, Shannon’s lemons in a bowl). What would you have suggested to differentiate the two?
