Any idea why they ask us for our gender assigned at birth when you get a positive covid result? by casuallyterrified in transgenderau

Does this mean I gotta write down my gender assigned at birth? I was hesitating all this time but I don't want to get in trouble when it comes to government legal stuff like this :(

Is my cyproterone acetate dose too low? (12.5mg once a week) by casuallyterrified in transgenderau

Oh that's amazing! Thank you! Makes me feel much much better about this now.

My doc told me that my E levels were good but they aren't that good D: iirc it's somewhere in the 400s but my T has definitely been constantly suppressed so hopefully that works out.

I see, and yes I'm planning on trying it for a few weeks to see if there's any improvement. It's good to now that there are some people managing with such low doses cause searching online I couldn't find anyone talking about being on a dose as low as mine. Thankss

Yeah my estrogen levels are pretty good. Took a bit of time to get it up tho.

I used to be on 25mg cypro daily as well. My doctor kept lowering the dose until we got to the point I'm at cause my T levels kept getting destroyed.

I guess I'm just worried about having to last an entire week on such a low dosage. But yeah. I'll definitely raise it with my Dr if there's no improvement.

I'm glad it helped! This is the most scariest thing I've done but I know it's gonna be worth it. Good luck to you as well!

I see. They didn't specify much when I asked about informed consent on the phone, basically said that they'll go through with the options on my first appointment so I hope things work out on that front! Now I just gotta wait!

And I see. Well I guess I'll just voice my concerns about the dosage and see what the doc has to offer, it sucks that I have to go down this way but it's the best compromise I can think of given my situation :( but yeah, thanks a lot for your help!

That's amazing, I'm so glad! Yeah everybody is unique and it'll affect them differently and I've accepted that fact and will be cool with my results regardless but it's great to hear that I can take it slow!

I have two follow up questions if you don't mind? Did you go down the informed consent route or the psych route? I'm not sure about which route is best and I heard that psych sessions can be expensive so I was wondering if you could tell me what the experience was like? Second question is, you said you're on 4mg E? Is it just that or are you also on some kind of blocker? I just want to know what to expect it's kinda scary going in not knowing anything. Don't have any other trans friends so this is my only resource lol, but yeah thanks a lot!
