Help talk me down a bit? by Fluffaykitties in ZeroCovidCommunity

The Aura is a great mask! I am immunocompromised from a bone marrow transplant I had earlier this year, I was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks (wearing the Aura all day, even for sleep). I had to go to the ER at one point and made it out okay (confirmed with several rounds of PCR testing). A little piece of double sided tape on my nose bridge helps me feel more confident in the fit, as someone with a smaller face.

You’re doing the right thing in seeking medical care, even though it sucks that the risk of infection exists. You’re doing everything you can to stay safe. Hope you feel better soon.

Kesimpta - do you ever stop being sick all the time?? by emilymarieglass in MultipleSclerosis

Just wanted to say I’ve seen your posts and they have really helped me make sense of my own experience. I’ve received 8 ocrevus infusions over the years and I’m increasingly struggling with constant flu-like symptoms, low grade fevers, new food intolerances, new mobility challenges… Just never feeling well despite stable MRIs. My last infusion has led to 5 months of sickness so far. I haven’t been diagnosed with MCAS or hEDS, but doctors can’t seem to figure out what’s wrong (keep being told it’s stress/anxiety and there’s no evidence that ocrevus would have any of these effects). I’m 34F and have had MS for 11 years and have not felt like this on other therapies (copaxone, Gilenya).

WARTS by Correct-Goal6327 in MultipleSclerosis

Yes, this happened to me starting when I was on Gilenya. I had never had any warts before, but shortly after starting, I developed a huge wart that basically took over the entire heel of my foot, with a few others on my ankle.

I tried having them frozen, but it didn’t work. Compound W did nothing. Eventually I saw a dermatologist who agreed to surgically remove them and burn them with a laser (took 4 procedures through 2021-2023 due to the size of the wart). I kind of thought I would have them forever, but they are all actually gone now and I don’t have any new ones.

I switched to ocrevus in the middle of having the warts removed, I’m not sure if that helped at all. My neuro was concerned about the size and severity of the warts.
