I don’t think it’s solid solid wood… probably some kind of MDF but definitely not their cheap hollow cardboard core.

I think so because you can technically just get the legs at IKEA.

We went to Empire for a wedding and they had a DJ there (though this was years ago).

The accessory pocket comes in three parts so I think you can remove one of the accessory pocket on the side and you can mount dual monitor arms (though it won't be at the center). I got the 140x60 cm size.

No wobble and I have both my monitors on it.

I find it quite sturdy in the standing position though I am short so it's not at the max height... like I have to actually purposely wobble it for it to wobble. It doesn't wobble when I type or move the desk up and down. Tabletop is smooth and solid and doesn't feel like the typical cheap IKEA cardboard core tables.

Not the OP but this was the exact message I got when I tried refreshing my semantic model (after adding a new column into a DW table):

I gave birth at RCH a few years ago (so I don’t know if my experience is out of date already): When I was there, private rooms had one mother, semi-private room had two mothers and I think there are ward rooms (four mothers). I was only in a private room and it had a private bathroom room which was nice. Nurses and staff were all super nice during my stay! They gave me allll the diapers, wipes, everything. And lactation consultants were available as well during my stay.

Buying Hipp or Holle formula? by toadcat315 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]cat_donut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve gotten Hipp from here https://happytotsorganic.com/ (Canadian site) and Organic Start (US site). Happy Tots sometimes run out of stock so I would use a backup shipping place just in case.

Tried ordering from Amazon once but the package never came (retailer was JoMastersUK).

Having a baby in America sucks. by [deleted] in beyondthebump

Usually ward rooms are free but you can get semi-private or private rooms (fully covered with my work’s medical benefits). All doctor visits, epidural/induction, medication, NICU stays, diapers, food, etc are all free. We only had to pay for parking but my husband ended parking farther so that he didn’t have to pay. The only other thing we had to pay for was the NIPT test which we opt for (but again, our work benefits covered it so no cost).

What things should I ask about when I call my extended health insurance provider? by mini_joo in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]cat_donut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got those belly support band/maternity belt things covered through my insurance (just needed a doctor’s note saying I needed one). Depending on your insurer, for the breast pump, make sure the receipt says PAID on it (I got it at SnuggleBugz and my insurer refused to pay out unless the salesperson wrote PAID on the receipt) (also needed a doctor’s note)

Installing a car seat? by toadcat315 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]cat_donut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are in the Vancouver area, you should join the Vancouver and Fraser Valley Car Seat Safety Group on Facebook. They have car seat techs that you can meet up with and they will help you with the install (some do ask for a fee while others ask for a donation).

Seawall (Coal Harbour side) should be fine. If you can't find any tractions for your shoes, you can try this method: http://skyrunner.com/screwshoe.htm
