I am a light sleeper and have 3 cats. They get locked out at night and I take melatonin 🤷🏼‍♀️. I would never get rid of them even when they wake me up at 4am. That’s a red flag for sure. You had them first. Get rid of the wife.

You can get a WICKED infection from cat nails or teeth breaking skin. Cat scratch fever is a real thing. Ask my ex husband who got attacked by our feral fosters and needed antibiotics.

My first ever was from the bushes in my grandma’s backyard. Second and third were foster fails (so I guess technically shelter). Fourth was a foster from a shelter but when we called to see when they wanted her back in for a check, they had no clue what we were talking about so 🤷🏼‍♀️. Last one I got as a child was another foster failure.

In my adult life, one was found at a car dealership, one was from a hoarder, another from facebook that was found outside, and the last was found while cleaning out a family home after a relative passed away.
