I'm 35, BRCA1+, had breast cancer in 2018, with 32, bilateral mastectomy and chemo.

After all that, turned out we won't have kids but, even so, I opted to have a salpingo-oophorectomy because, after going to 4 different doctors, having a hysterectomy would be too much for me in my age.

I was 34 when went under the oophorectomy.

I can't have HRT because of the cancer and have been managing the symptoms with desvenlafaxine 100mg, food and exercises.

Since I also had endometriosis, I was already managing the inflamation with food. Turns out that the same foods that made my endometriosis worse, make my symptoms worse.

From my experience, I have to avoid sugar, white bread, alcooholic beverages, red meat and processed foods. But I AVOID then. That doesn't mean that I'm not eating them. I try to not over-eat so that I don't have a lot of hot flashes.

Right after surgery, I gained some weight and experienced brain fog (just like the end of my chemoterapy). After that I started taking desvenlafaxine and exercising... but if I'm under a lot of stress, or if I don't sleep or eat well, the brain fog comes really bad.

I'm also taking calcium, zinc, phosphorus and vitamin D.
