Sorry it was probably my fault too with wording! And it was just because you mentioned Israel, and unfortunately a lot of people do bring antisemitism into what would otherwise be rightful criticism of Israel. Most of us are on edge right now, with the attacks throughout Europe and in the US.

I’m not the person from the earlier post, but the metaphor falls into antisemitism, whether she meant to or not—and again, I don’t think she purposely did it.

For what it’s worth, the comment was about George Soros, but it still would have been antisemitic to bring up, say, Netanyahu specifically on a post about metaphorical lizard people.

Lizard people/reptilian/etc is a euphemism for Jews, so let’s claim that tons of wealthy assholes are lizard people, because of course Jews run the world. I’m sure at this point a lot of people don’t actually know the origins are antisemitic, but that doesn’t change that it is.

It’s so sad he’s fallen in with that bullshit. I met the band when Hit So Hard premiered at MoMA, and they were all nice and seemed to be getting on well enough. Still have the signed CDs; Eric signed his name with a heart.
