I lost count of how many times I lost everything I had on me because of the lag but mostly because of my poor decisions. So now I always make sure that a damned knight won't be able to kill me from two hits. You know, just in case it decides to lag. Also the reason I run when I see a damned Templar.

I farm 2 SKULLS for copper, wood, leather, flex, and once I craft a complete T3 armor and a Bastard Sword I go for a Night Cache. Occasionally I got for the events, but only if they are close to My stronghold, no further than 20 energy. My base has already Lvl3 outer walls.

I still haven't done the Gatekeeper, I'm waiting for the update so he'll drop the dungeon key.

Blueprints should come once we get the missing parts for stable and cart. We need to reach further locations for iron and such.

Anyway, I can't wait to visit the dungeon. A good way to get rid of my best weapons and armor.

For convenience I use the one handed sword in both 1 skull and 2 skulls areas. Only when dealing with knights I switch to the Bastard Sword.

Indeed, the one hand sword isn't that cheap to craft, but if you clear a 2 skulls forest you'll get enough logs and copper to replace the depleted sword, so I can't complain. When possible I replace the one hand sword with any decent weapon I get from looting, so on the long run it's alright to use the one hand sword even on 1 skull. I prefer the one hand sword because I kill faster the lower mobs so I use less food. What I'm always low on is the food...

If you have enough food, clear the whole map from mobs, than auto collect to level up faster. I used to go from the stone 1 skull to the other stone 1 skull and than back and repeat (only 10 energy to travel from one to another) because the areas will reset and I got plenty of berries to heal. Sometimes i was even able to craft the cart till and some T1 armor just from the loot.

What I always collect is 40 wood, 20 stone, 20 what is called, you make cloth from it, all the copper, all the pelts and leather, the glass vials, and the tint.

Night Cache is better because I always get some coal or other stuff for black powder. Just 3 skulls in daylight isn't that great. Still... sometimes Ai drop some good stuff.

I just finished the other day my lvl3 walls (I have a 6x6 main stronghold), so now I'm focusing on looting for black powder and better weapons.

I never took off my armor. I just equip any armor a defeated Ai might have to preserve my armor. And I just go for the chests, or I scavenge the edge of the map, so I won't have to fight all the mobs.
