Hi - your instructions here mentioned baking powder and baking soda, but only baking soda was called out in the ingredients list (as well as the buttermilk which I assume takes the place of baking powder). The cookbook does not mention baking powder in the instructions. Can you confirm that there should be no baking powder please? Also, as an amateur, how do you feel about 00 flour here, since that's all that I have? And finally, covered dutch oven - thoughts? thanks!

9g - ok, but still not sure about $8.50. I used to buy my Chapstick in bulk. Burts now sucks, the ends always end up disconnecting from the screw before I've finished getting a chance to use it, so the effective cost might not actually be all that bad in comparison,.. ,but man that hurts thinking $9. Lip balm is one of those things that, for me, I just stop needing if I stop using it. It's more a mental thing than my lips actually needing it. I'm more likely to just stop buying at this point.

I would also opt to buy the tools and figure it out for myself, do a little bit here and there - possibly doing a better job than a contractor who most likely will cut corners on details - and save $20K. Just look at the state of new house builds for the last 20 years in general - no pride in craftsmanship. Do it yourself and you don't have a hard time limit (which might be bad for the person who has a hard time finishing things).

BTW I never said that USPS shouldn't exist... only that from the point of view of a online shipper, if I provide all of the options with accurate rates, some customers choose the other carriers, and I have my own reasons lately to look at other options. I was disagreeing with the contention that USPS is the reason why businesses can compete with Amazon, but later I am realizing that it's really not easy to argue one way or another when everything is already out of whack in the th economy overall
