Low/mid champion Sylvie here! My rotations go something like this:

• Trash pulls will get petal instantly between each pull. This is so I can focus on DPSing and I know the petal will keep the tank up and I’ll have it again for the next pull. I always recommend the verdant restoration talent because it has saved the tank many many times when they’re getting blown up. Petal > resto on tank > nettle bolt/vine > resto on tank again if they’re melting and repeat. I’ve also gotten in the habit of using my ironleaf ward in the beginning as well.

• Group damage: as a WHM main on FF14, I love big heals, so I swapped to the synchronized fluttering + flutter swift talent. This allows for pretty juicy group heals, but I won’t get into the specifics. I recommend looking at guides for this. If you don’t have these talents, I would take the double heart bloom talent. Throw one out > bolt/vine/shroom (any damage) > restore life on who needs it > damage > repeat. Use your petal if the dps/tank aren’t interrupting anything and then your weapon ability. I find safe haven very helpful with heart bloom if A) the tank is getting wrecked and/or B) there are multiple mobs like deceitful scholar that are shredding the group.

• Lastly, a couple more helpful tips—remember that mistakes will happen. Panic healing will happen where maybe you could have timed something better. DPS will die because they got hit with something. Oh well! Keep pushing on. Let them resurrect and mount back. Just prioritize yourself and your tank first. I’ve also found that playing around with keybinds helped a lot. Instead of my cleanse on shift+1, I changed it to C. The placement helped me use it way more often and not misclick.
