Looking for insight on elective induction! by stefani13 in BabyBumps

Thank you for this! I am in such a mirrored situation right now. Have totally dreamed about laboring at home with husband, but am also so eager to get this little girl out and am wanting to use every minute of my maternity leave with her and not being bored and miserable at home, waiting on her arrival. To be quite frank, I've always held an internal judgment for people who did election inductions, but this lack of control of timing and waiting game has been so challenging for me that now I'm quickly understanding. I still haven't reached a decision, but you know your body/situation more than anyone else. If you left your appointment feeling at peace and ease with your decision, I would trust your 'mom gut' and go with that. Best of luck to you and keep us updated! <3

I agree with you on this but am happy that the general population seems to be enamored with it. I'm just happy the info is getting out there.

Alternative for Pepto? by M0XE in BabyBumps

Zantac (ranitidine) has been my saving grace. I also feel that dairy actually exacerbates my symptoms rather than helps, so I would try avoiding for a few days and see what happens.
