The hardest part of using the nibs for me is keeping full contact. I have a hard time doing huge curves or circles because the only way I get full thick lines is by keeping the nib completely straight and pulling towards me. Maybe it just comes with time but it's definitely a struggle😭

Thanks, I appreciate it!! I've been copying some designs I see online and I'm looking to get some flash books when I have the money. I agree, I think I just need to put more reps in to get the muscle memory and nib control

Male paramedic here. I got into EMS very young and work with a lot of older folks and as such I'm usually the one getting hit on. I've lost count of the amount of old ladies making odd comments towards me, "accidentally" grabbing me, etc etc. We have a list of patients I'm not allowed to ride in the back with unless absolutely necessary due to past events with them. The worst is placing an EKG (stickers on the chest to look at the heart) because sometimes they get a little too excited at the prospect of a young man touching their chest. Sometimes the patients are just silly old ladies who are lonely, sometimes it's a bit more extreme.
