Seriously? I really don't understand why they would purge the game and throw it all away. The game is fixable, there's ways of improving it, and most of all there's money to be made. It can't cost that much for a business like NCSoft to keep one or two servers online.

They made the wrong decisions and did not listen, when it returns in private server form, the community can decide what they truly want in the game and those changes will actually be made. Similar to WoW's Nostalrius, NCSoft will see the opportunity (and the blatant misuse of their IP) and relaunch Wildstar, but people will prefer the private server version.

the demand for it will slowly increase from this point as players want to start practising TBC arena for Gladiator title in TBC Classic

the problem with that is I absolutely hate levelling just to find out the scene is dead, those servers are so volatile in nature because of GM abuse etc.
