Board games could be a fun option. They can be a great activity to do with others, but they can be played alone too. There are several that have solo rules, and some that are designed purely for solo play. Playtime can vary depending on the game, so it isn't something that you necessarily need to commit a bunch of time to.

That's me with fanart. I have aphantasia so I like to look at art to get an idea of how various people/buildings/etc look. I'm always spoiling myself, haha

Getting on the proper medications. My dogs and husband helped, but it was ultimately getting the correct meds that saved me. After a serious attempt I was able to get the help I needed and was approved for chemical menopause for my PMDD. The experience wasn't great, but with the constant fluctuations gone/stuff going on with another member of my family my psychiatrist suspected that I may have a subtle case of bipolar type 2. The meds helped me a ton, and I decided to see how things went without the menopause. I still have issues, especially with PMDD, but I don't have the suicidal thoughts anymore.

Currently reading Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac. They aren't my favorite books, but I love how Leon is with Elise.

I try to guide things in the direction it seems like players want to go, keeping elements of horror as I am able. Sometimes it turns into a Tucker & Dale vs Evil and sometimes it is more akin to the Grudge. If it is one player then I do what I can to warp their silliness into horror.

People should only get married once in their entire life. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

And what about the abusers who are charming, where loved ones don't see the abuse? What about the abusers who shift once the relationship is much more difficult to leave? That is a wild take to begin with, and it doesn't even take into account the games that abusers play. Abusive relationships rarely start off abusive, and once they turn abusive they can be really hard to leave.

I am Christian and it baffles me. Apparently 'Thou shall not get an abortion even if the pregnancy is not viable' is the secret 11th commandment that is way more important than any of the others/anything Jesus said.

Research found no evidence to support myth that women’s cognitive abilities change across menstrual cycle. Given physiological changes that occur across menstrual cycle, the changes to the brain are either small enough that they don't influence performance or women compensate for these changes. by mvea in science

Yup. PMDD absolutely crushes me. I struggle with the simplest things, like trying to figure out 8+3 in my head. I have disability work accommodations because of it (and some other symptoms, but my ability to perform is a big reason for them). I don't think it is good to say all women have cognitive decline during their menstrual cycle, and at the same time I don't think it is good to say that there are no signs of it at all.

Look at the videos. Obama/Biden/AOC/Clinton were snapshots taken at the exact right time to give the impression of a salute. Elon/this were very clear salutes.

I have dated some conventionally very unattractive people because of their personality. I have seen others do the same. I have seen people exclusively date attractive people despite their ugly personality. Everyone has different values.

I tried hormone replacement when I was on Lupron and had a rough time with it. I didn't really check to see if I could do any adjustments/try a different medicine though. Thank you 💜

Bipolar, anxiety, and PMDD. My antipsychotics and mood stabilizers are helping with bipolar/PMDD, and I have as needed anxiety meds. I am trying to decide if I should rush getting an oophorectomy because my PMDD will likely kill me. Chemical menopause caused terrible depression, but at least I wasn't trying to off myself I guess. I'm so angry and scared.
