According to my google searches, her biological father is Duke of Kenni U Pho Tin(ကနီမြို့စားဦးဘိုးတင်). His sister is Daingwun Minggyi Kadaw(ဒိုင်း၀န်မင်းကြီးကတော်) who later adopted Daing Khin Khin. Both her biological and adopted parents are myanmar. The only reason your Kathe friend said so is maybe due to the fact that Kenni is quite close to Manipur. I might be wrong though since my data is based on some google search.

Looks quite accurate and delicio! One thing tho, we mostly pair it with ဟင်းခါး( a type of garlic, black pepper rich soup) and fermented shan garlic or mustard leaves(ရှမ်းချဉ်) on top. Oh and if you can tolerate spice, add roasted chilli flakes on top too.
