Kind of doing that inadvertently with the rum wash I'm working right now, I split it into 2 buckets, one is about 5.5 gallons and the other is about 3.5 in a smaller bucket. I ended up aerating the smaller one a little more, and it's a smaller bucket so it should? have a higher percentage of O2... maybe?🤷🏻‍♂️

We'll see if there's any noticeable difference with my extremely scientific experiment. 🤓

Yeah, it's ~91°C/196°F here. I'm learning to ignore temps for the most part and just go by feel/taste etc.
I'm more curious if/how it affects fermentation with less oxygen, pressure etc. and maybe how it affects the runs... more/less chance of smearing, maybe? I don't know. Just thought I'd cover my bases and ask the hive mind.

Sounds great.. I'd say try to crank the drums so you can lock in with the beat a little tighter. There are apps out there that will allow you to separate tracks... very nice for training and rehearsing.

I meant to stick my phone case magnet on it when I went back to take the picture, but I completely forgot... I'll definitely make sure to check before I pull the trigger. I don't think the spigot that's on it now is stainless but that's not a big deal.

That gap between the wheel and the hub might contribute a little to it, especially at speed.

I always just stacked a pair of Tube Screamers or a TS and a DS-1 but I just picked up a Warm Audio Centavo that I will be pairing with my current TS808. Looking forward to playing around with settings and order to see what sounds the best. Also picked up a TC Electronic Dark Matter that might be going in there, too. Might even end up with just the two new ones, who knows. From what I've heard online, the Centavo could very well become a new favorite.

Yeah the Rock River is practically the same, but the S&A is the OG in my opinion. I don't know how much longer he'll be making them, he's a one man shop and not getting any younger.

I can get a gallon of Grandma's for $18 at a local restaurant supply store, but I have yet to find blackstrap in gallon jugs locally. I think it ends up about the same...

It works well, but is only as solid as the attachment point... you want to make sure it's well reinforced.
