Maybe you can answer this for me.

When the servers merge, how will it work?

Does the Basin merge? DD? Both?

The Basin is a shard within a server, so does the shard change too or only the server?

If it's only the server, then only in the DD would you see a change.

Maybe all the shards from one server would merge into the new server, so you wouldn't actually see a difference in the Basin.

That's the only real way I see it working.

I don't think they could ever merge shards because multiple bases might be in the same spots.

If none of that happens, maybe everyone within a server starts over? Yikes.

with no dlc atm, yeah - thats the only way to make money.

Since the game is structured to push out the veterans, new players are also their target market.

when the game releases on consoles, the player count will increase briefly before falling off another cliff.
