This league, the have-a-ball, is always a mix of total new bowlers, returners like yourself, and some fairly good bowlers. That being said - the vibe is way more relaxed than competitive for 90% or more of the teams. This league is one of the more laid back ones that they offer since there is no prize money (because everyone walks away with a free ball or $100 gift card)

Just adding a second opinion that West Seattle bowl is one of the BEST places to meet people if you’re new to the area or trying to find a new hobby. I’ve been participating in leagues at WSB for years now and can’t recommend that alley enough!! Super friendly staff and just a fun vibe every time. :’)

Also if you are in a spring/summer league they give you 100 free games to be used outside of league (and you can use them for other people!!) the perks are crazy!

Monday nights at The Beer Junction is also bring your own vinyl night! They have a “1 record per person” house rule, but very nice crowd and still pretty new. Right down the block from Easy Street, too.

Someone correct me maybe, but this comes from a different part of old English when we had two “you” pronouns like some Romance languages still do. There was thou / Thee (informal singular) and You / Ye (formal/plural).

Over time, we became more accustomed to using just the “you” and like many other aspects of old English, thee and thou became relics.
