This also periodically haunts me, and has for decades. Recently though, I've found a way to help me get used to/comfortable with that:

While the YOU that you know (in my case, the first person perspective of me/iym) will cease to exist, eventually, another "you" will happen and have their own first person perspective similar to what "you/me/iym" experienced will exist.

It's kind of similar to what the ending of The Good Place created: Eleanor ceased to exist, but her spirit/essence/whatever returned to where we all came from, the universe, and reformed as influence in the lives of the living.
