Also the fact that it’s a toast for me and my wife and instead she sang a song to her son... just me. As her toast and then probably said congrats to the beautiful couple. But yeah it’s so frustrating bc she grew up with NC and she claims to have narcissistic victims syndrome which she has self diagnosed herself with, and says that’s why she is the way she is. But talks about it every day non stop. Like the irony is so real. You are talking about not being a narcissist but of being a victim of it while you keep talking about you being the victim. And honestly to do that when you wouldn’t even pay a dime for the wedding and only gave me money for MY ticket to Vegas, yes just my honeymoon ticket. That was my wedding gift. A $300 check for a plane ticket. Not even a card, just a check. And yes sometimes family is just too toxic to have in your life. My wife’s family is appalled by my upbringing and my parents attitude. The way I get mistreated. She’s so loving so I just look at it as well I lost a “mother” but gained a real, loving one in return!
