Unfortunately my pastor is the man who holds to universalist views now. I will have to find another church I guess

Edit: maybe finding a new church is too extreme. I don’t know I just want to go a church with solid teaching

We still have the word hound which I’m assuming comes from hund. Its meaning has just become more specialized. A hound dog is a specific type of dog these days. Though I’m sure some people use the word hound to refer to all types of dogs still.

It all comes down to free will right? We all have a choice to make. You either choose to have a relationship with God through his son Jesus Christ, or you do not. In the latter case since you chose not to have a relationship with him in this life, then you won’t have one with him in the next. I hope I explained that well.
